Brian is a graduate of both Carleton University School of Industrial Design and the National Theatre School of Canada.
Brian lends his creative skills to those areas in which he specializes, specifically Scenography (set and costume design for theatre), and Environmental Graphic Design. Please link to Scenography Bio to see a selection of shows he has designed.
Project Manager
Brian has over 20 years of design and project management experience. He is responsible for the design and execution of complex projects with critical deadlines including signage, banners, and infrastructure for festivals and special events, along with a variety of professional theatre productions.
Brian has managed various designers, sub-consultants and contractors and has worked very effectively on multi-disciplinary project teams that have included specialists in the areas of Marketing and Communication, Lighting, Sponsorship, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Architecture, Logistics and Programming, amongst others.
As Project Manager, Brian provides reliable cost and time estimates, prepares schedules, tracks projects, arranges meetings and prepares meeting minutes.
Brian has written various Terms of Reference documents for a range of projects and product services from design to fabrication and installation. He is able to evaluate and recommend different options based on the specific needs of the project.
